Welcome to Wooli
Hello! I'm Pao, and I'd love to share a bit of the story behind Wooli ♡
I first learned to crochet when I was 15. Although I set it aside for a few years, I came back to it in 2017 and discovered the magical world of amigurumi. I quickly fell in love with the technique and started designing my own patterns. In 2018, I opened my first online shop in Guatemala, and by 2020, I was sharing my Animal Crossing-inspired creations with the world ♡
In 2022, I decided to move away from fan art and start building something original — something truly mine. Since 2023, I’ve designed over 50 characters and patterns, each one full of love, personality, and a little piece of my heart. In 2024, I moved to the United States, bringing Wooli with me and holding onto this dream tighter than ever.
Today, Wooli is still a one-woman adventure, with my husband cheering me on behind the scenes.
I dream of continuing to create fun, unique, and lovable characters that bring smiles to people’s faces.
